Oasis (Ages 2 -15)
The state's largest wave action pool (suitable for older kids only), with 3-foot waves for body board and body surfing! Add to this a dozen water slides, such as the twin 70-foot tall Scorpion free-fall slides and the two 40 mph Rattlers. Creature Fantasy, for 2 - 6 year olds, features fanciful mini-slides through a whale's mouth, along a giant frog's tongue, and out a 6-foot high shipwreck. Whitewater River is a leisurely inner-tube ride for all ages.

Sea World (All ages)
Sea World is a world-famous aquatic theme park located on Mission Bay. The killer whale and dolphin shows here are truly spectacular, and the marine life exhibits just keep getting better and better. Beware, during the 1/2 hour Shamu Show, featuring Shamu the killer whale and a few of his friends, the first 14 rows will get soaked from Shamu's splashing. Kids love it, but camera equipment doesn't. The Rocky Point Preserve, the Penguin Encounter and Forbidden Reef are all highly recommended. When the kids tire of shows and sights, take them to the Cap'n Kids World playground (kids 37"- 61" only) or the new 2-acre play area Shamu's Happy Harbor.
